Christiane Bélanger teaches classical ballet with the Vaganova Method. This approach is based on the improvement of flexibility and the strengthening of the back muscles in order to achieve graceful, precise, and perfect movements. The exercises presented help students to increase their flexibility and to develop their coordination and concentration.

After each semester, students perform a small show in front of their parents. At the end of the year, they dance in a more elaborate production which allows them to get stage experience as well as a sense of achievement and pride.

Preparatory Classes
For younger children, Christiane Bélanger offers preparatory classes that introduce students to coordination and well thought movements. This class is based on the European method called Jaqueline Robinson, which helps students to use their imagination to learn how to move in a controlled fashion.
