The mission of the Foundation of La Compagnie Christiane Bélanger, created in 2001, is to help young citizens of Québec City to fulfill their dance-related dreams. The foundation multiplies its actions to achieve that goal by soliciting funds and by offering financial support to these young dancers.

The foundation has three principal objectives:

• To create and maintain programs and projects specially made for young dancers.
• To broadcast projects made by young dancers in Québec City.
• To raise funds to ensure the future of the foundation in order to finance its activities.

The Foundation La Compagnie Christiane Bélanger needs your donations to achieve these objectives and ensure a great future for the art of dancing in Québec City.

How Will your Donation be Used?

• André Mignault Scholarships

  Two scholarships of about $500 are offered each year to talented dancers from cégep, university, or professional formation. These scholarships help the young laureates to access quality dance training which will allow them to pursue their dreams.

• Christiane Bélanger's Hopeful Projects

  The Hopeful Projects are projects prepared by youngsters for youngsters. The Foundation invests in these projects each year to encourage new dancers in Québec City.

• Support to Young Dancers

  Each year, the Foundation La Compagnie Christiane Bélanger offers professional expertise to more than 200 young dancers. The partnership allows these dancers to get professional coaching and encouragements to accomplish a project that is dear to their hearts.

• Other Costs

  A fraction of the donations is used to pay for the three studios and for other specific projects that vary from year to year.

No donation is too small: any amount will be more than welcome and will contribute to the Foundation of La Compagnie Christiane Bélanger activities.
